Sandra Evans has loved horses for as long as she can remember. Her passion for gaited horses has led her to own and show numerous champion horses over the years, creating friendships and memories that have lasted a lifetime. As President of the National Gaited Horse Association, Sandra is honored to serve an organization and community she deeply cares about. She believes the Association is about more than horses—it's about the people who share a love for them. She is committed to being approachable, listening to members, and always being available to answer questions or help in any way she can. Her goal is to ensure every member feels valued, welcomed, and proud to be part of the Association. When she's not at the barn or attending horse events, Sandra enjoys spending time with her husband, Michael Evans, and treasures being "Grammy" to her grandchildren, Layla and Deacon. She looks forward to working alongside the membership to continue building a strong future for the National Gaited Horse Association.
